I have been a 500-hr Yoga Alliance certified teacher since 2008. Known for challenging classes and creative sequencing, I encourage exploration and experimentation within the safe container of alignment-based instruction. You will find breath work, meditation, and philosophy an integral part of my offerings. What inspires my practice and my teaching is space: the creation of space to gain perspective, to find balance, and to reconnect with the joy and beauty of moving through life.

A Florida native, I randomly fell into yoga in my teens when a doctor mentioned it could help with low back pain. I moved to New York City after graduating college, and began going to yoga every day as a way to cope with chaotic city life. When I made the decision in 2007 to commit myself to delving deeper into the practice of yoga with a teacher training, I didn’t know where it would lead me. But I knew the effects the practice had on me, and I knew I needed to follow it wherever it would take me. It’s an absolute pleasure to share with others the practice that has been instrumental for me to find balance in a hectic world. I continued to study, first taking the Ishta Yoga 300-hr training, and later with specialty trainings and workshops. I hold certificates in Children's Yoga, Yoga for the Special Needs Child, Restorative, Prenatal, Trauma Informed Yoga, and more. As a yoga teacher and human, I am committed to continual growth.

I have been a lead teacher in 200 and 300-hr Teacher Trainings since 2013. For over a decade in NYC I worked with 10-15 private clients a week, and continually expanded my training  in anatomy, injury management, and more, in order to serve them in the best way possible. In 2015, I created a 30-hr specialty training for teachers called “The Art and Science of Working with Private Clients” to help give teachers the tools to elevate the private yoga experience to its full potential, and I’ve been teaching it yearly ever since.

I also specialize in teaching hands-on adjustment workshops for teachers, as well as a variety of workshops for students to hone their skills - inversions, arm balancing, meditation, and beyond. Since 2010, I have led yearly yoga retreats all over the globe, including Portugal, Finland, and Mexico, and it's an amazing experience to hold space for students to get out of their regular life patterns and dive deep into their asana and meditation practice.

Having moved to Atlanta in 2021 with my husband and daughter, I’m excited to find and foster like-minded community in a new place, and humbly offer the many tools of this practice that lay the groundwork for us all to rise up to our highest potential, both as individuals and together.
